On May 1st and 2nd, 1993, the formal good-bye took place of the The Hague PCC-cars, which had been in service with the local public transport company HTM from 1949 until the end of June, 1993. Apart from single cars and a number of double tractions, there will be two triple tractions joining the festivities. Car 1210, which has been out of service since 1982, will be thoroughly refurbished, to be put back in its original state of delivery.

At the Zichtenburg depot, a large line-up is formed, which includes (right to left) cars 1001, 1022, 1101, 1192, railgrinder H23, 1210, partytram 1302, 1314, instruction car 1315 and 2115.

Following the line-up, several cars are turned backward and brought to the trammuseum that way, so they can be presented to the public in a better way there (normally, the trams are with their fronts to the museum building).
